Dramatic dynamics
The Sylvain Outline Table Collection (2016) exemplifies a design approach in which “function and aesthetic are given particular attention through subtle yet distinctive decisions,” according to Belgian designer Sylvain Willenz. Viewed from different vantage points, the tubular steel frame seems to transform from thick to thin for a surprisingly dynamic appearance. An elegant marble top completes the “outline” structure. Made in China.

Sylvain Willenz
Sylvain Willenz discovered his passion for design in the woods of New Hampshire, where he spent time in the woodshop of his childhood summer camp. From those rustic beginnings in the late 1980s and early ’90s, Willenz went on to become a designer of a broad range of products – from rugs, mirrors and light fixtures to chairs, shelving and electronics – for customers around the world.
