A contemporary collection
Stow Storage Bins offer an attractive way to stash your stuff. Felted surfaces, rounded edges, and array of hues give the containers a soft, sculptural look. But these bins are no pushovers: Each has a sturdy frame of molded, recycled PET plastic that safeguards its form and contents. All containers come with a lid that has a slight center indentation; this allows units to be safely stacked. Designed by the Stockholm-based studio Afteroom, Stow bins come in multiple sizes and shapes designed to fit in closets, beneath beds, and everywhere in between. Made in China.

Eco-Friendly Description: 100% Recycled PET felt. PET is the type of plastic typically used to make containers for beverage bottles. Materials made from "recycled PET bottles" are typically made from bottles collected from recycling facilities. Materials made from "recycled Ocean-bound PET bottles" are made from bottles that were at risk of ending up in the oceans due to a lack of proper waste management facilities where they were discarded. Materials made from "recycled Ocean Waste PET bottles" are made from bottles that were harvested from the ocean after they were improperly disposed of.

Afteroom
Afteroom is the creation of wife-and-husband design team Chen-Yen Wei and Hung-Ming Chen. Wei grew up in Taipei City, Taiwan, the daughter of insurance clerks. With the family based in a crowded city, her parents “tried their best to give us more contact with nature,” she says, “and I’ve appreciated beautiful things ever since.” Wei graduated from National Taipei College of Business.
