Designed by Jesus Gasca, founder of the Spanish furniture brand STUA, the Lau Desk (2012) is smartly scaled, with a shallow depth that suits tight spaces. While the piece’s open work surface and smooth, slightly splayed legs reference Scandinavian design, the delicate waterfall-shaped connections between its top and legs add an unexpected softness. The desk can double as a console table and is manufactured from wood grown in sustainably managed forests. Made in Spain.
