When Kim Colin and Sam Hecht created products for Yamaha, Issey Miyake, Herman Miller, Muji, and many other companies, they approached each project as a means of simplifying people’s lives in an inspirational way. An essential modern desk, the OE1 Table (2020) embodies that philosophy, with a minimalist aesthetic and flexible functionality that bring quietude and utility to the home or office. It’s designed to work individually, in multiples, and with what you already have.

Sam Hecht and Kim Colin
Together, Kim Colin and Sam Hecht are partners in London-based design firm Industrial Facility, founded jointly in 2002, where they approach architecture and industrial design by carefully considering context in combination with minimalist aesthetics and real-world utility.
