Details

Details

Designed by prolific Danish master Finn Juhl for France & Son in 1958, the Coffee Table is crafted of solid walnut with elegantly tapered legs. Juhl famously approached furniture design through the lens of a sculptor, creating human-centric pieces that quickly became icons of the midcentury movement. His Coffee Table offers a generous tabletop with slightly raised edges. Made in Denmark.

Finn Juhl

When you look at the graceful shapes and sensual curves of Finn Juhl’s work, you may be shocked to realize that he designed these pieces 60 to 70 years ago. A pioneering force in his own country, Finn Juhl is also credited, along with fellow Danes Arne Jacobsen, Hans Wegner, Borge Mogensen and Poul Kjaerholm, with introducing Danish modern to midcentury America.
